Gift of Salvation verse
Galatians 2:16

Conversion is one of the most important components of being a Christian. It's really important that you fully understand the experience. So often, new converts don't get complete information regarding who they have now become. Please allow me to share some information regarding the conversion experience.

The first steps to being saved starts here: The Sinners Prayer

You do not have to experience Salvation during a church service or have someone else guide you through it. It is an experience that can be shared between you and God. If you are interested in becoming saved please click on the above link. There you can find a little bit of information regarding the experience, as well, as one version of the Sinners Prayer that you can pray with you and God alone. After you have received your free gift, I urge you to continue the lessons in Life is a Journey. They will help you to grow and give you directions for the next part of your walk. Please also utilize all the resources listed to assist you as you go.

This is not my writing, just one that I thought would be helpful. A few words were changed so that it does not encompass a particular denomination. I wanted it to be useful for all people of God, for all denominations.

A little more about my journey:

I believed for so long that the path I took to a relationship with God was so wrong. I can say now, that I have revelation as to why my life has taken me to some of the places I have gone. My life had been riddled with a bunch of hurts and pains, and I have had a lot of desperate times. I have survived many tests and trials, some of which I will be sharing at some point on this site. I'm sure I will have more to come. God did bless me with an amazing ability to research, and the desire to know more. I admit God had to work on me regarding that desire. I had to learn that I wasn't going to find out in my time, but His time; and I had to learn to be okay with His will manifesting in His time. I certainly didn't see this site coming 10-15 years ago. I can say that along the way I have comprised a lot of information. I have come across some resources that really helped me grasp basic foundational concepts and beliefs, as well as so much more. I'm so happy to be able to share them with you, in hopes that they will bless you just as much as they have blessed me.

Also, commentary regarding Apostle Paul's Dilemma noted in Romans 7:7-23 that the Author referenced. What Apostle Paul experienced is something that I can say I have experienced more than once in my life. It took me a long time to understand exactly what he was saying in these verses. I will also include other versions of Romans 7:7-23. I find that reading other versions is a big help when trying to understand the bible.

Below you can find various versions of Romans 7:7-25

Here are a few other links that dive into understanding Iniquity, Sin, and Transgressions. I hope they can be helpful for you, along your journey. I have also included a list of Sins. I find that most people only think about sin as being things like murder, stealing, adultery. Some people don't realize that there are sins that we commit within our selves, and they are just as bad as murder, stealing, and physical adultery. Such as pride, jealousy, envy, and covetousness. I say physical adultery because it is possible to commit adultery within ourselves that does not require physically touching another person. I did not compile this list of sins and some will require you to do more research to get a complete understanding; such as it lists money. Money itself is not a sin, the sin can come into play depending on how we view money, or how we use money can be sinful.

Here is a link to help better understand the difference between Salvation and Sanctification. There is a difference, one of which I didn't realize right away. This topic is one that I am passionate about. I found during my journey, this was not a topic covered much in some churches. We can all grasp that Salvation/Justification is a necessary gift. Sanctification is also necessary to get to a place of relationship with God. It is the sure fruit of our Salvation/Justification. I have also included a Teaching Outline on Sanctification. Please enjoy!
