Here at BTGI we understand the importance of community outreach.  We also understand that improved health and economic independence are an integral part of our daily survivorship.  This is why we are forming a National Outreach Initiative.  We aim to make it accessible to communities throughout the united states. 

Here is an example:  Tom lives in Mississippi, but his youth program is interested in a retreat in the mountains.  Tom happens to be on our site; and notices a youth retreat in the Pocono Mountains that offers the opportunity for other youth groups to attend. Through our initiative we aim to bridge the gaps and assist Tom in offering his youth that amazing experience they have been wanting. With your help we can assist in providing those amazing experiences to men, women, and children alike.  

Through these efforts we hope to initiate a broader understanding and outlook on diversity.  The goal is to give people the option to cross a range of different social and ethnic backgrounds and of different genders, sexual orientations, etc.
